The basis of all yoga. The systematic sequence of asanas creates a powerful flow. Beginning with Sun Salutations and moving into a sequence, focusing on breath, focal points, locks and movement.
Your hips are the body’s junk drawer - they hold emotional stressors when you’re not sure where else to put them, yet you’re not entirely ready to release them. Our tight hips aren’t just a result of sitting all the time at your desk, in a car, or on the sofa while watching television, they’re also a sign of emotional stress building in the body’s largest joint. The hips are the body’s stabilizers, but they also serve as storage units that house sad memories, financial fears, relationship woes, and family issues. By taking the time each and every day to focus ample attention on the hips, you’ll release fear, depression, anxiety and sadness.
Vinyasa is the marriage of breath and movement. Have you always been fascinated by how yoga could benefit your health but thought that all that meditation and chanting isn’t meant for you. If yes, then power yoga might just be the thing you need to try. As compared to traditional yoga – power yoga is faster, builds more strength, stamina, flexibility and focus. Another benefit is weight loss because it is far more intense and quicker making this a very effective way to burn calories. These are just a few of the benefits...there's many more.
This pilates class mixes traditional pilates with HIIT (high intensity interval training), tabata and a focus on your power house (core). This is great for anyone interested in gaining strength and stamina.
Yin yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with postures, or asanas, that are held for longer periods of time—for beginners, it may range from 45 seconds to two minutes; more advanced practitioners may stay in one asana for five minutes or more.
